Industry veteran brings decades of aviation experience and deep European market expertise to accelerate Epic’s international expansion

Bend, Ore. (USA) and Amsterdam, Netherlands (Nov. 4, 2026) — Epic Aircraft today announced the appointment of Enrico Evers to spearhead its European sales efforts, bringing more than three decades of aviation sales, business development, and customer support experience to the company’s entrance into the European general aviation market.

The appointment follows the E1000 AX’s European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) type certification in July 2026. Epic plans to begin sales in Europe immediately and has established regional support in Salzburg, Austria, through Airlink Salzburg, its inaugural European Authorized Service Center, and Personalized Flight Training & Examinations, its official European Flight Training Organization.

“EASA certification opened an important new market for the E1000 AX, and Enrico brings the experience and relationships to help us build a strong presence throughout Europe,” said Doug King, CEO of Epic Aircraft, LLC. “His deep understanding of the European general aviation market, combined with his customer-first approach, makes him an ideal fit for Epic. We’re thrilled to welcome him to the team.”

Evers brings extensive international aviation sales experience, having held leadership positions with Piper Aircraft, Continental Aerospace Technologies, and Columbia Aircraft, as well as working with Beechcraft, Raytheon Aircraft, Cessna, and RED Aircraft. His expertise includes developing and expanding aircraft dealer and service networks throughout Europe and other international markets. An accomplished pilot and EASA class rating instructor, Evers holds both FAA and European pilot credentials and has logged nearly 2,400 powered flight hours.

“Having worked with aircraft owners and operators across Europe for many years, I see a compelling opportunity for the E1000 AX,” said Evers. “Its combination of performance, payload, efficiency, and cabin comfort makes it an exciting option for customers.”

The six-seat, all-composite Epic E1000 AX combines jet-class performance with the efficiency and versatility of a single-engine turboprop. With a maximum cruise speed of 333 knots (617 km/h), a maximum range of 1,560 nautical miles (2,889 km), and a full-fuel payload of 1,177 pounds (534 kg), the E1000 AX delivers the speed, range, and carrying capacity to make more missions possible. Its exceptional short-field capability provides access to more airports, bringing business and leisure destinations within easy reach — all while delivering lower operating costs than comparable light jets.

Epic will bring the E1000 AX to Europe as part of its 2027 tour, including an appearance at AERO Friedrichshafen in April. The tour will provide prospective customers with an opportunity to experience the aircraft firsthand, meet the Epic team, and discover its industry-leading performance, advanced technology, and exceptional capabilities.
